Institutional Sales


As a member of the institutional sales team, you will be responsible for helping to expand CSOP’s US footprint. Key responsibilities include keeping abreast of changes in the competitive landscape, identifying prospective clients, marketing CSOP’s products, and serving as a general resource for China-related questions.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of work experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and expanding market footprint
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet KPIs
  • Comfort with cold calling/cold e-mailing
  • Interest in and familiarity with China/Asia macroeconomic landscape
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify and present complex ideas
  • Willing to travel as required
  • Series 7 and 63 Certifications desirable


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Formulate strategic plan for growing assets under management
  • Refine industry, market, and product knowledge to effectively communicate CSOP’s products and value proposition
  • Assume ownership and manage interactions with clients through all phases of the relationship cycle (acquisition, investment, and retention)
  • Develop creative and strategic marketing initiatives to expand CSOP’s footprint in North American markets
  • Work across timezones with Hong Kong headquarters to coordinate seamless operation of fund management business

Investment Research and Market Strategy Intern


As an intern, you will play a key role in the day-to-day office operations and develop initiatives to ensure future success of the business. Key responsibilities include supporting Portfolio Managers and Sales Leads in identifying market opportunities, strategizing new financial products, and developing research reports and institutional communications.

  • Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • Previous internship or work experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with Bloomberg preferred
  • Strong quantitative skills, ability to synthesize market data
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify and present complex ideas to the general public
  • Strong interest in financial markets, economic development, and Asia-Pacific region

  • Assisting department leads in providing investment research
  • Collecting financial data to analyze company valuations
  • Compiling and drafting research reports on sector trends
  • Preparing client presentations and institutional communications
