North Korea snubs China by failing to reciprocate political gesture; deleveraging efforts continue

Chilly relations between China and North Korea continue despite Beijing’s effort in sending a special envoy to Pyongyang. Kim Jong-un reportedly refused to meet the envoy, essentially snubbing Beijing. Meanwhile, Beijing released potential new rules on asset management products that could impact both companies looking for leverage as well as brokerages that facilitate the market.
